Macworld|iWorld: Cupertino Adventures

Yesterday I landed in San Francisco after a (thankfully) uneventful flight from Florida. The day I arrive is always a long one, because I can take advantage of the time change, it's a 20+ hour day but I'm running on adrenaline.

I met Adam Christianson of the MacCast at the Airport and we along with Kelly Guimont of TUAW and Lorene Romero headed up to the Apple campus where we were treated to lunch and did a bit of shopping at the Company Store. The Apple Company store is the only place where you can buy official Apple apparel and I make it a point to stock up on T-Shirts, mugs and other favors when I have the opportunity.

Wednesday night we had the pleasure of joining Smile to celebrate their 10th birthday. The Smile party is always one of my favorites but this year was extra special as Smile brought in their whole crew to celebrate the occasion.

By far, my favorite part of Macworld|iWorld is getting to catch up with friends I only see once a year. Normally an introvert, this is the place where I feel at ease. It seemed ever corner I turned or every function I attended there was a new friend waiting to greet me. This is really a magical place.
