Mac Power Users Show 100 is only a few weeks away and I am just amazed and humbled. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. It's been an honor and a privilege to podcast with David Sparks and every day I am grateful.
We want to do something special for Show 100, and if it's successful, perhaps it will be a semi-regular part of Mac Power Users. We want to feature the workflows of the true Mac Power Users, our loyal fans. Over the last 100 shows I've been privileged to chat with musicians, actors, directors, writers and all softs of Mac luminaries. This show we want to hear about your workflows.
We're looking to talk to several Mac Power Users listeners who have mastered a workflow and have something unique and interesting to share with the audience. We want to know the "why" behind your workflows, not just the "how." I see this as an excellent opportunity to highlight applications that perhaps we haven't had an opportunity to discuss in depth in previous shows. Bonus points: tell us how our show has helped you create/develop/refine this workflow.
Think you've got a workflow the world needs to hear about? Good. Here are the technical details for how to tell us about it: Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the words "Show 100" in the subject line picking the ONE aspect of your workflow you want to talk about. Your email should be long enough to give us a flavor of your workflow, but don't write a novel - keep in mind we're going to have to go through a lot of email in the next few weeks.
We'll pick a handful of people and conduct interviews over Skype between now and August 20th. Typically we record starting around noon Eastern. Our goal is to keep segments no more than 10 minutes so think ahead as to what you want to cover and how to pack in the most information you can. Just because we interview you doesn't guarantee you'll make the show. Depending on the response we receive we may do more than one show.
I can't wait to hear about your workflows!
