PDFpen 6 Released - On Sale for 48 Hours

One of my favorite Apps just got a major update today. PDFpen and PDFpenPro version 6 has been released. I've been using the Beta for a while and my favorite new features include a new function to to export a PDF to Microsoft Word, DocuSign support, and the ability to automatically find and create form fields form a PDF in PDFpenPro. Version 6 also includes lots of extra polish and tweaks like an editing bar, support for versions and it's retina-optimized.

PDFpen supports sync via Dropbox and iCloud, however users who want iClouds support will need to purchase through the Mac App Store due to Apple's sandboxing restrictions. To accommodate their Mac App Store customers, Smile is holding a special 48 hour sale where upgrade pricing will be able to all purchasers. Whether you're an existing customer or just want to take advantage of this deal, you want to act fast. Beginning March 19th, PDFpen 6 will be available on the Mac App Store for $29.99 and PDFpenPro 6 for $39.99.

After the 48 hours, Smile's standard upgrade pricing will continue to be available directly to registered users of PDFpen. According to Smile, users who purchased direct or Mac App Store licenses on or after October 15, 2012 are entitled to free upgrades to the direct purchase version, which does not include iCloud support. Unfortunately, the Mac App Store licensing policy sadly doesn't allow Mac App Store upgrades so act fast. You can find more information at Smile's Blog. Here are the direct Mac App Store links:
