Since the first Thunderbolt Macs came to market I’ve looked at various Thunderbolt docks. Although my MacBook Air has a thunderbolt port, I’ve never been able to use it as long as my Mac is connected to my 24" Apple (non-Thunderbolt) Display. This means I haven’t been able to use any high-speed Thunderbolt hard drive, firewire adapters or Ethernet because of the limitation of having only a single port. The Belkin Thunderbolt Express Dock solves this problem, and recently got a major price drop to $199.
